Wi-Fi and home network help

When the Wi-Fi drops in the back bedroom or video calls freeze, there is usually a reason: where the router sits, what is in the way, or equipment that can no longer keep up. We come to your home, find the cause, and quote any changes before you approve them.

Dead spots found, then every room covered.

Sound familiar?

  • The Wi-Fi works downstairs but not in the back bedroom
  • Video calls freeze when everyone is online
  • The connection drops and the router gets restarted every week
  • The TV buffers even though your phone seems fine
  • You are not sure whether you need a new router or a mesh system

What we do

Network fixes and Wi-Fi

Track down the reason a room drops out or a video call keeps stalling, then plan sensible improvements around your home and the way you use it. Any equipment needed is discussed and quoted before you approve it.

What we look at

  • Where the router sits and what is in the way
  • Signal room by room, including the ones that drop out
  • Your provider’s equipment and what it can handle
  • Which devices compete for the connection

A network you understand, and a short written list of anything worth changing.

How it works

  1. Tell us what is happening. Use the form or call, in your own words. No technical terms needed.
  2. Approve a written scope and quote. Nothing starts until you do, and we don’t go beyond it without your sign-off.
  3. We do the work, then walk you through it. You keep written notes on what changed.

Where we visit

Homes and offices across Chicago's western and southwestern suburbs, including Elmhurst, Hinsdale, Burr Ridge, Hickory Hills, Palos Park, and Orland Park. See every town we serve, or call (708) 966-9790 to check yours.

Common questions

Anything else, ask in your request or on the phone.

Ask a question
Do I need a new router?

Not always. Placement, settings, and what is in the way often matter more. We check what you already have first, and if new equipment would help, we recommend it and quote it before you buy anything.

Can you help with the router my internet provider gave me?

Yes. We look at your provider's equipment, what it can handle, and how it is set up, then explain your options in plain language.

Will you run cables through my walls?

No. Changes to walls and electrical work are outside what we do. We plan improvements that suit your home as it is, and tell you if part of a job needs a specialist.

What do I have at the end?

A walkthrough of what changed and a short written list of anything worth changing later, so you understand your own network.

You can start with “it’s not working.”

A few sentences are enough. We’ll ask about anything else we need to know.
